The course is free - all you pay for is the art materials, if you need them. Māpura Studios will supply art materials but we'll keep the cost low and send them to you wherever you live. 


The experience of stroke can have an impact on the way we process our thoughts and emotions.  The creative process is an effective, explorative and fun way to express yourself when you are learning to live with the changes a stroke brings to your life. Together we will explore drawing, painting, collage, poetry reading, story-telling and more as a means to explore your creativity and express your thoughts and emotions.  

We will identify starting points using materials and concepts and from here you will identify and develop your own creative voice. You will be surprised at what you discover about your abilities. 

Join us in this online community and find a sense of belonging amongst a group of others who have had a similar experience to you.

You may have your own art materials already, or you can buy affordable materials from many places including The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, even Bunnings.

MOA optional art materials kits are available to order through us from National Art Supplies.
