Stroke of Creativity is an online creative community. This group welcomes anyone who would like to explore their individual creativity however we do have a focus on people who have experienced stroke or brain injury.
The creative process is an effective, explorative and fun way to express yourself while living with the challenges life brings. Artist and tutor Cath O’Brien has designed this programme as a way to explore your creativity and express your thoughts, ideas and emotions through drawing, painting, collage, poetry, reading, storytelling and more.
Each session we will identify materials, techniques, concepts or the work of another artist for inspiration during our creative time together.
Discovering your creative voice will help you to express yourself to and reflect on the different aspects of your life with the support of an online community.

The course is free - all you pay for is the art materials, if you need them. Māpura Studios can supply art materials but we'll keep the cost low and send them to you wherever you live.

You will need the following for this class: You may have your own art materials already, or you can buy affordable materials from many places including The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, even Bunnings. MOA optional art materials kits are available to order through us from National Art Supplies. Let us know whether you would like to order a kit from us. Postage prices are additional, and varies as to where in the country you live. |
